Cremonini and Bologna, home and heart. “The emotional peak of the tour”

Bologna, June 19, 2025 – Cesare Cremonini defines in a video the “emotional peak of his tour”, the double date that will see him as the protagonist at the Dall'Ara tonight and tomorrow. Because it's his home, because — as he recalled — "all the songs in my life were born in this city." But also because, a little, he doesn't know what to expect: "It's a very special thing to play in your own city, you feel naked, stripped, you have no defenses."

Defenses that, in reality, he shouldn't need at all in Bologna : a city that loves him and that he loves deeply, to which he has given and continues to give so much - and Bologna knows it. It always welcomes with enthusiasm all his initiatives, musical and otherwise. Because Cesare in Bologna doesn't just make music : for every home game he is at the stadium, in the now 'his' Dall'Ara, to support the rossoblù in their exploits between the Champions League and the Coppa Italia.
So much so that it has become one of the symbolic voices of this historic season, with 'Poetica' alongside Lucio Dalla's 'L'anno che verrà' after every victory. And Bologna was also there when he presented his documentary, Alaska Baby , from which his latest successful album takes its name and which tells the story of the trip he took to Alaska: lines of fans filled the Modernissimo for the November screenings .
The city also responded to the project, which he wanted, of sound light installations along the porticoes leading to San Luca, created last year together with the German light artist Philipp Frank.
Entire days of magic, with crowds of kids, families, citizens walking surrounded by lights , colors and music.
San Luca, so important to him that he dedicated a song to it, written together with another symbol of the city, Luca Carboni . “What a thrill to be able to sing it right behind San Luca,” says Cesare.
And tonight, in fact, they will perform together, with the Sanctuary watching them from above the hill, embracing Carboni's return to the stage, after the tumor that struck him in 2022. "Being able to bring my songs to the Dall'Ara, the emotional temple of my city - for sport, culture, music - has an immense value for me," said Cremonini, who has not performed there since 2018. "I can't wait, it's the first time I've done two concerts at the Dall'Ara so also for my career and for my biography it's a historic and important moment, I hope to be able to make all the people who come live a dream."
